Our Story
Mango Crafts was created by Kevin Gallogly and Paul Hurley in 2003. We had a vision to create something different; something awe-inspiring and truly unique in the furniture and interiors marketplace. We believe we have truly surpassed that vision, especially over the past 5 years.
Mango Crafts specialises in designing and crafting unique furniture creations from solid timbers sourced in South-East Asia. Mango Crafts’s innovative styles combine the natural look with a mix of rustic and crafted contemporary shapes from some of the world’s best wood. The principal objective was to make fully functional furniture from single, solid slabs of wood, mixing rustic lines with contemporary designs and letting new themes evolve from the combinations.
The Finest Materials
All pieces are unique and made with only the finest materials and an exceptional degree of care. Our signature high-end woods are Acacia, Ironwood, Teak and Reclaimed Teak Roots. They are ethically and sustainably sourced, principally in northern Thailand, and dried in our company’s facility there.
Only when they are ready, after an extended drying process that can take up to 4 years, are the woods transported back to the Mango Crafts’s workshops in Kenmare and Oxford. Here, our team transforms them into carefully crafted ‘statement’ pieces that our lucky clients will adore for years as a center piece in their home.

Truly Unique
At Mango Crafts, we pride ourselves on being the pioneering force in the design and handcrafting of truly unique furniture creations. Our customer service is an integral part of our business. We use only timbers from salvaged, reclaimed, or managed sources to produce our unique furniture creations.
We have a repair or replace guarantee on our tables, which is why we have such a high level of repeat business from our customers. We stand over everything we do. Our showroom and workshop are located in the beautiful town of Kenmare, Co. Kerry.
